Oozy : Yuri Project 

Yuri first appeared in a drawing I created in 2019.

The drawing depicted her resting in a forest, surrounded by mushrooms, plants, and other forms of life, existing among them as part of the natural world.

I miss the feeling of damp earth beneath my bare feet and taking a deep breath of cold air filled with the scent of grass.

Without skin as the final boundary, the body could breathe more deeply and experience the air, moisture, earth, and life more directly.

In 2026, I returned to Yuri and brought her into three-dimensional form for the first time. Continuing the work that began in 2019, Yuri has moved beyond the drawing and into physical space.
